Going to try and write some things about our 1970 road runner sixpack car,That we found in a barn back in 1998, Things are getting done but my health is getting poorly each day. We try and work on the car a few hrs a week, The car is 1 of 429 made.88000 original miles,has been documented by (GTS) Galen V. Govier, Hemi four speed dana 60 rear with 410 gears, fy1 paint N96, will try to add some pictures if we can as the work gets done on the car.After the metal work, body and paint was done it came back to my shop.Then the K frame was dropped out and painted prov 15.All new suspension. Torsion bars was painted with the drips on them like the factory and tan marks ,also upper and lower control arms were powder coated.New brake lines,new master cylinder, new brake shoes, brake drums was turned,Wheel bearings and wheel cylinder and sping kit, rubber brakes lines,three way adjustable shocks.New headliner was put in and new ACC black carpet.New package tray and new rear speakers.Seats were covered by a friend with Legendary Auto interiors covers. bumpers were rechrome by tri city .Interior work should be done by this week .The dash was redone by me.also the heater box, New front speaker, Then we will work on the rear end with all new parts and paint. The 440 engine is in the engine shop also.Up front we will have 15x61/2" ralleys and the rear will be 15x8" with NOS centers and new trim rings.Front tires will be P225-70-15 and the rear ones will be P275-60-15,We will add more information and pictures soon. The side scoops and the rear seats and door panels are in today 1-20-2010 .Some NOS parts, front parking light lens with yellow led bulds,Side marker lens,NOS pig tails, NOS PLYMOUTH emblem on the rear,NOS fender Pentastar ,Our car has a wood grain steering wheel with a NOS horn button, NOS air filter,We had the air cleaner powder coated and a few other things also, we have two broadcast sheets and a invoice from the buyer back in 1969 11-15-69, All of the glass is tinted,Has a right side mirror also, We have all new 3" exhaust with a X pipe and flowmaster muffers 40,s. The engine is going to be bore .030 with speed pro pistons (sixpack) moley rings, clevite 77 bearings, Mopar 509 cam kit, 906 heads with 214 intake valves and 181 exhaust valves also with harden seats and 077 springs, got a Mopar Performance chain set, melling HV oil pump,carter 6903 fuel pump, Thanks Moparts, mosweethemi ,(Thanks to Scott Smith for putting the pictures on Moparts of our car) more new news on our car on page two, also going to try and get our car to Carlisle this year in building T or at the car dealer out front. this year is going to be for the 1970 cars like ours. more news to come soon!!on our car.
