I need to have a radio bezel in a 64 B Body replated/refurbished/detailed (don't know the diffrence) and wondered who to go to? I found a Mr. G in Dallas on the internet and this is where the replated vs detailed question comes from as they list some bezels both ways. Anyone else out there who specializes in re-doing these components or will re-do mine?

I'd reccomend www.gcartrim.com (Glen) he's done the best job or rechroming the fine molded in lines of the 64 dash I've ever seen.

*BTW, I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Mr. G's!

Thanks SH,

I just went to the gcartrim website and I'm impressed and products look fantastic. He makes reference to "fineline detail" which the 64 panel is full of. This looks to be a great source of dash plastic.

I don't know Mr. G's products but I was a little concerned when his online disclaimer stated.

"Some 0000 steel wool polishing marks
(scratches), minor runs, or other minor
flaws may show at close examination."

Seems this defeats the purpose of having your dash plastic redone. You don't know what you'll get back.
