Anyone know wht the torque spec is for pitman arm to centerlink ? I cant find it in my manual thanks

I just tighten it tight and pull it to the next cottor pin hole

dont back it off to get the pin in

Should be same as tie rod ends, about 35 ft lbs.? Old mopar car, no?

I dont agree on the same as tie rod, also they are torqued at 40. The idle arm to center link is torqued at 65. There is no hole on the pitman arm for a cotter pin.

If you don't agree and already know why ask? There should be a place for a cotter pin on the draglink end.

ouch!

just tighten it up till you cant any more and let it buck

seems like thee should be a hole for the cottor pin in all of the tie rods and pitman/drag links

I would be drillin one if there is room,I have done lost a tie rod while driving at 55 mph

had a ball joint fall out on a 96 ram 1500 at about 75mph..didnt get to save that one,whole spindle tire ripped off and took out the fender and door be for the ditch

check header clearance when its sitting on the ground at ride hieght

how you like those headers now???

Got the headers on , the drivers side was kind of a bear. All in all they look good, getting ready to fire that motor soon.
