If the pistons are .005 above the deck(440 stock stroke) and those 452 heads are 90.0 CC or so I would worry about pinging and detonation with the iron heads on pump gas I have dyno tested similar combinations with 9.5 to 1 or so comp ratio on premuim CA pump gas with the Torquer II versus a M1 single plain versus a Eddy Performer RPM on the same motor, same day, same carb and fuel, the Torquer II was the weakest on torque and HP all the way through the RPM range, 2500 RPM to 6000 RPM IHTHs

The torquer and RPM where not cut for that motor, both bolted on.The M1 was cut to fit that motor and fit very well, no intake port matching on any of them, they where all smaller ports on the intake side than the heads where. The RPM was sucking oil up thru the intake valley on the dyno a tiny bit, I ended up having the sides cut to make it fit. It is a pump gas street motor in a 1965 Plymouth Satelite whith air, power steering buckets seats console and all the other creature comforts, 3:55 gears and 275x60x15 rear tires. Most of its life will be below 3500 RPM and it is a bunch better at thsoe RPMs than the M1 single plane intake is

Well it works good on 91 wonder how it will be in actual driving conditions?? Congrats
That`s my point.........my timing`s at 32 degs for best results on 91 pump. I know a dyno loads the motor but don`t think it the same as moving several thousand pounds down the street.
Yes the motor has more time to get hot spots. a 2200 stall will load the engine at 2200 where the dyno may have been at 4500?? Be interest to see how it does work out on the street!
