Yes please answer this question! Hedman shorties are cheap but do not fit A bodies. Spitfires are not readily available.

What shorty or tri Y headers are you looking at??

I've heard the Headman shorties in a A-body don't fit well at all. I don't know if they fit B/E bodies any better.

Schmacher made some big block A-body tri Y headers. Those are nice. But only for that application.

Keep old mopars alive.

I really like my TTIs and I have always hated long tube headers. Thease dont drag, I didn't have to dent them at all, I don't have to use the angled oil filter thingy, I can easily change my mini starter, they have elasted several years and still look great.

As for the manifolds I can tell you from first hand experiance the 617 and 618 casting big magnum manifolds will fit both sides on an A-body with manual steering and a 904 trans and for a manifold they flow great

I do not seek any specific shorty headers. Just looked up on ebay for mopar360 headers and found shorty headers from Summit and others and wonder if they are any good. I think they are a universal fit and do not know if they are suitable for e-body

Do anyone have experience with these summit, hedman or other y headers fitted in a e-body.
Obviously down pipe must be tailor made.

We ran manifolds on our 360 Dart for a couple years and working with the driver's side one was a muther*...passenger side was a piece of cake though.

For the most part I didn't find manifolds any easier to deal with than headers even in an A-body. In my Duster we took a pair of cheapo headers and cut the flanges, it makes them so much easier to work with and manipulate.
