I just receive this part from jegs today. Mopar part number P4529057AB. See the attached pictures and tell me if this is correct for a 1970 Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack.

I am specifically asking about the taller black metal piece on the front of the base that my finger is pointing to.

Second question, is the valve cover breather supposed to be semi-gloss black or orange like the valve covers and motor?

Thanks, Rob

The metal shield on the front of the baseplate was for use with non fresh air hood cars.

Thanks for the speedy reply!

Most of them that I have seen are black. Don't recall ever seeing an orange one.

The P5007737AB is the other one without that shield in the front.
