Both are solid roller cams.
Camshaft A
286°/286°@.050
.500 lobe lift
104 LSA probably installed at 102-104 ICL

Camshaft B
290°/300°
.477/.509 lobe lift
112 LSA probably install it at 106-108 ICL

Engine is my Hemi
572" 4.5 bore x 4.5 stroke
13.75:1 compression
head flows well for stock heads 450-460 CFM at .700 lift
Cross Ram intake with 850-950 DP Holley carbs.

The car has everything a race car should 5500+ converter, 4.88 gears..but on the porky side of 3500+lbs.

The Camshaft A might present a valve to valve problem, which can be a bunch of added problems, machine work and $$ to resolve.

With Camshaft B valve to valve clearance probably wont be a problem. I wish the cam was about 5-6 deg smaller on both intake and exh lobes. This cam would be a good choice to send in for a regrind..I have spoken to Comp, and have a few lobes in mind.

how would the engine respond diff to each cam? I figure the first cam would have better mid range power, with a pretty narrow power band.
The 2nd cam looks pretty good, but kinda long in duration. If I ran it I would advance the cam maybe as much as 6 deg, and run lash on the loose side.

Well, My opinion would be cam B. I sa this because of two reasons.
1 - The larger LSA wil probably run cleaner and idle beter.
2 - Although there isn't enough info, it would be my guess that cam B may have a less agressive lift rate and may be beter on springs. The duration is larger without much increase in lobe lift. It may become more obvious if you hade duration numbers at .200 lift.
If they are comp cams lobes, there should be lobe numbers on the back of the cam. Very useful to identify the lobes and lift rate profiles.

I would use camshaft B and put it in at 108, 109 and set the lash where the cam maker wants it to be to start with I would probally look for a set of 5.38 or 5.57 gears for the rear, unless your running a short tire, less than 99 circumference with the 4.88s

Who in their right mind would put a Hemi in an old car? Well I'm not familiar with that combo, but I've never seen a Hemi that didn't like cam and gear. Call the cam manufacturer, I did, of course I didn't listen to Comp and advanced my cam, Car slowed down.....Hmmmmmm. The wife is always telling me what a genius I am, although she spells it differently.

I'm no expert but both those cams seem kinda weak for such a big inch motor...a Hemi at that. With that stall I'd probably look for something in the 600 lift range.**** whoops lobe lift****
carry on.
