What color are the fresh air hood scoops on a 1971 Demon340 supposed to be??? My demon340 came with a flat hood and I am looking to add the scoops. I have seen them anywhere from flat black to gloss black to body color... Also was the hood blacked out or body color?

If i'm not mistaken, the color is called 'organsol' black. Flat is not correct, neither is semi- or gloss black. The hood would be body color with the organsol black scoops. Unless you add the hood stripes which make the scoops look just that much better!
