back in aug.08 i finished a 520 with EZ-295's on it for a guy. fast forward a year or so, the car comes back to me. he thinks it blew a head gasket. of course, one of the first things i do is ck the radiator.... still full to the cap! i bump the starter...ummmph. it's locked up. so, i start taking the plugs out and i find each one is rusted. then i get to #5 and when i pull it out water pours on the floor. hydrolocked
. the guy left the car outside uncovered and somehow water ran into the carb and got into the cyls. needless to say he left the water in the engine too long and rusted up the cylinder walls. talking about a bonehead.........
