dragracedr OP member D Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 178 Suffolk,VA	I'm thinking about a set of 14" wide torqthusts with 14" wide slicks for my '65 coronet. Race weight of the car will be 2950-3000 lbs, 528" hemi, looking for 9.0 et's. I'm concerned about center section strength fir these wheels - I don't want to rip out the centers - catastrophic. Any one have any experience with a similar drive wheel combo?

China can make quality parts as well as cheap stuff. Maybe something to consider with the Hemi twisting them. that sucks, and ill bet the price didnt go down either. i have a set of polished torque thrusts that i got the summer of 08 and they are american made, i bought a set of cheapo ar outlaws for my wifes dart last january and they were made in china. galen super stock G Joined: May 2009 Posts: 834 Missouri	Spin them up on a wheel balancer before you mount your tires I had one that was 0, one was 3.5 oz. out of balance and you could see the center was slightly off. Could not get tire to balance. Bought another pair of front tires before I found it was the wheel. 4.5 by 15s. Last edited by galen; 01/05/10 09:16 PM.

Mine should be here tomorrow or Thursday! Can't wait to get the tires on Saturday and throw them on my 69 Charger. Should totally change the look/attitude over the stock 14 inch road wheels.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Hold your mouse over the polished wheel to see what the grey center version looks like.
