Not running a 16 volt, but we have an adjustable voltage regulator that you can dial in your desired voltage output. Pretty cool unit. Here is one available online. MegaDart master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,314 The Swamp	Tommy, I run 16v in the Firebird and absolutely love it!! But I do NOT run an alternator. I know some guys that do with good success but 18+ volts to sensitive electronics scares the $%^&*( out of me!!

Most new electronics are good to 20 volts . I have a sheetwack of electronics and have had no issues running 16 volts. I have the adjustable alternator and my car runs at 18 volts everywhere. I spin the alternator to around 15000 RPM. Once you go 16 volts you will never go back to 12 volts. 6.50 @ 226 MPH 4.25 @ 186 MPH https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YX86DHGKBo0
