Great looking Dart! Not running a 16 volt, but we have an adjustable voltage regulator that you can dial in your desired voltage output. Pretty cool unit.
Here is one available online. Looks like it is what you may need..Oh..did I say great-looking car?

why would you do that?? I am no expert but a 16v alternator charges at 18+ volts don't think your 12v battery would like that too much...

SpeedwayMotors.com sells a step up box that boosts 12v to 17.5v for the MSD. Only 2 or 3 passes on mine but noticeable increase in spark zap. Plugs love it.

Tommy, I run 16v in the Firebird and absolutely love it!! But I do NOT run an alternator. I know some guys that do with good success but 18+ volts to sensitive electronics scares the $%^&*( out of me!!

I run the powermaster XS-volt system. Nothing spins over your engine like a 16 volt setup.
Most new electronics are good to 20 volts .

I have a sheetwack of electronics and have had no issues running 16 volts.

I have the adjustable alternator and my car runs at 18 volts everywhere. I spin the alternator to around 15000 RPM. Once you go 16 volts you will never go back to 12 volts.

With the proper wire size to the starter , a 60 amp one wire alt, and an Optima yellow top my 557 Hemi spins over like this all the time .

if it have a volt sensing cable you kan put a diod(“cut-in” voltage ) as a "resistant" to offset voltadjustemt
whats a Diod ?
