So it sounds to me like Al is saying it isn't rocket science and I have to agree.

Bill, just run a tube up to the front and don't worry about it any more. That heap's gonna go plenty fast.

Whether or not the return line gets submersed is dependent upon the type of system in many cases. If the return line is a high pressure [say 15psi and higher] then we recommend returning it intot he top at a point furthest away from the pick up and running a tube down under the fuel level so it does not aerate the fuel.

In a low pressure return system where the bypass is up at the carburetor we do not recommend the tube under the fuel level in the cell as it can cause problems in trying to regulate the fuel pressure low enough in this type system.

In no application though would we advise returning the fuel back in through the extra bulkhead on the sump of the cell however.

Experts ruin all the fun

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

fuel return line with bypass valve 2lbs open at idle through return line .9 lbs when valve closes at full throttle .Motor on uses less fuel and heats up better .11/2 gals once we warm up and make a run.
Don't run foam with alky ,I don't run filters either strain fuel through funnel .
We use that blue fuel line NHRA approved return to top of fuel cell .

Hope this helps Bill i thought you were switching to alky. Most that run this setup dont need a huge fuel pump i believe mine is a 220 or 280 BG that i had to cut the pressure return spring to get my pressure below 10psi .
They have been in Business along time ,they have a true wet flow bench .

DUAL PRESSURE BYPASS FOR METHANOL
Bill here is more info . Sorry didn't read your post fully
LARGER VIEW Simulates belt drive fuel pressures, provides 1-3 PSI @ idle 9-12 PSI @ WOT, reduces over fueling while decelerating, always have cool fuel at the carburetor, reduces needle and seat flood over. Fuel is already moving, so system is not affected by launch G-forces. Significant performance increase in engines over 500 horsepower.
Item #: 4515-S
Dual Pressure Bypass for Methanol - 4150
