Since E85 has been pulled from the 2 semilocal pumps, Im going to scrap my 470 (for now) and do a pump gas 512, using the same block, heads, intake I already have.

Specs are:

11 to 1 512,
PRH Ported BS heads,
Plenum modded Vic Jr,
2 inch Hookers,
Carb most likely will be rt66jims 950 ProForm, which flow wise is somewhere between a 950 Holley and 850 DP Holley, Maybe 875-900???
Converter flashes a hair below 5k (with a basic 440 right now), Id think a hair above 5k with a 512
3900 lb car
3.73 gear

Ive got a roller set up, but want to spend the 1k on a set of rockers at the moment, so Im looking at flat tappets.

One thing, the car will be street driven, 1k or year or so.

Yeah, I know call an expert. Will do, but just looking for any opinions.

72 RR, Pump gas 440, 452s, 3800 lbs, Corked, ET Radials,. 11.33@117.72. Same car, bone stock 346s, 9.5 comp, baby solid. 12.24@110.

since you already have the roller stuff, I'd go with a solid roller that isn't super aggressive ramp wise, that will live with lesser rockers, probably in the 255-260@.050 range, maybe something like the bullet R296/417T, which is 296@.010, 258@.050, 173@.2", .414 lobe lift (.621 with 1.5 rockers) and .604" after lash....

512 inches with a 5000 stall.
I would say the extra 60 inches over a 452 base makes the cams act 10 to 15 degree less at least!
I'd go 270+ intake and 280+ exhaust 110 lobes seperation angle and .650 to .690 lift!
Hyper henry has had this one for sale from his 512 worked great with a 5000 stall 11 to 1 motor.
Should be in the for sale section

I'd look at something around 276I/280E on a 108 spread in at 102 if you're really gonna street drive it....~105 for a full race. Bullet/Ultradyne have some pretty nice Flat Tap Grinds but for a dual purpose street driven car go with the Ford (.875) lobes, the Mopar .904 U/D (NF series) are pretty agressive flanks to keep lubed.

I'd be tempted to go to a tighter 3800 stall with a 4600 or so Flash, you're side stepping a whole lot of Meaty torque in the mid 3's for no apparent reason..... you really only need a lot of stall if the motor won't take WOT stepping off the brake at the stall speed.....believe me with a 512 with that head and a smallish carb that will NOT be an issue. FWIW if it's 5000 behind a 440 you can probably figure to add ~600 more RPM behind a 512
