I am shopping for a front disc brake kit for a 1969 Road Runner, non power brakes. Anyone ever use the CPP brakes kit? http://www.classicperform.com/NewProducts/MoparBrakeKits/Mopar_Brake_Kits.htmThe price seems right... any other suggestions? I was also thinking of not converting to power discs (using a new non power disc/drum master cylinder with adjustable prop valve). Would this work? Thanks

I'd call Cass a.k.a. Dr Diff. Can't go wrong there!

You can do it for less using the FMJ spindles.
Get the spindles, backing plates, caliper brackets for $150 or less and buy new rotors, calipers, bearings and go.
This would be the way I go if not interested in the power brake set up. I've read the boosters in those kits can be problematic.
PM me if you are interested in doing the FMJ spindle conversion.
when I wanted to upgrade my M to the 11.75" rotors, I found an R body (81 5th ave) in the junkyard, told them I want the caliper adapters, but I couldn't get them off (flat tires sitting in muck). told me to come back the next day, I asked how much, they said $20. came back the next day, they took a cutting torch to the UCA, LCA and tie rod, and gave me EVERYTHING (spindles, rotors, calipers, brackets, and 2 15x7 rims with flat tires) for $20......
anyway, the kits shown in that link are basically repro F/M/J stuff (10.87" rotors). you should be able to get everything (spindles outward) from a junkyard off of a 5th ave for $50 or less. for new rotors/reman calipers/pads/seals/bearings (basically only using the JY spindles and caliper adapters)
from rockauto:
reman calipers w/hardware: $37/pr bendix ceramic pads: $21/set rotors (raybestos): $96/pr grease seals: $4/pr SKF inner bearings: $16/pr SKF outer bearings: $14/pr
total: $188
so, assuming $50 for the spindles & caliper adapters (I'd also grab the proportioning valve from the donor car), ~$200 for new hardware, probably another $40 max for hoses & a can of rustoleum for the spindles and caliper adapters, you have basically the $400 kit for $300.
grab the JY master cyl & booster, or pick up a reman master cyl/booster ($133 for the 5th ave power one, or $60 for an F body manual one) and you have the $599 kit for under $400.
