so just currious, not pulling any punches, but what do you have into the truck, as far as money goes? I am thinking that the truck would go up another level with a cherry grille, but might not be as nice with a driver quality grille. just my 2 cents
but it all depends really. if your making a show poodle, or you plan on driving your truck. me, i plan on enjoying it all summer long, every summer. some of us know what the midwest does to aluminum grilles.
not saying ric's work is substandard or anything like that, but i wouldn't want to take a chance on damaging such a beautiful piece that cost me a hole bunch of money. so on this i agree w/the Warlock. but again, i will drive mine like it was intended and drive it well.

Thats what I have often ponder doing myself, keep the grill with it's little scatches in it for when I drive it and a nice show quality one for when I show and just swap it out at the show. Just have to be very careful hauling it around and swapping it.
Hey Ric any new news from your painter. I went and talked to my painter about possibly taking my truck in this winter and completly redoing it. I am considering this the paint on my truck is 10 years old and beging to show it's age. If I do I will take it down in September and take it to him.

that's actually not a bad idea. it doesn't take long to swap a grille. kinda like a set of wheels and easier, as long as the screws agree. lol
