I am building a 70' Challenger R/T right now myself with a 25.5 cage for our local Heads Up Drag radial & 10.5 racing & this is car is as close as I have ever seen to how I want my car to look & sit when done. Steff, this is one of the coolest E-bodies ever built in my opinion. I can't wait to get mine done. I used to Love seeing it out at Milan. Good luck with it John.

You Guys are killing me with all the kind words. It's very appreciated!! Even, though I don't own it anymore, I'm still very proud of it & yes, I do miss it. I was watching it on RJ & noticed it wasn't selling for the 2nd time being offered & was trying to work it out to where I could've bought it back, but I didn't have all the dough yet, so I wasn't going to make an offer without being ready to buy. Then, I had heard it sold again, so like the old saying goes....."ya' snooze, ya' looose". It's all good though. I've got something else in the works (no , it's not the Mustang I bought), so it's all good!!

Very Simple......got in a little over my head with it, money wise during the 10.5 transformation.....tack that on to some other household debt, & slow work at the time & Viola!! I wanted to eliminate the debt, so the car got sold.......Paid the debt, put the rest in the bank & that's that. I was stupid, plain & simple.

Steff,

Your car was top notch. I would miss it also...

But as what you staed that you had to do what needed to be done. I don't think you were stupid..I think you have your priorities straight.

Can't wait to see a new project from you man

Having the priorities straight is something I can relate w/. Thats why I sold mine off too. I'd still love to hear the followup stories on the Challenger though. We need to see some updated pics of it. I miss seeing it.

When you decide to quit, THAT is the moment when you would've succeeded..

Welcome John and congrats on buying a great car that is well known around here! The last time I called Danny (the day after you picked it up) he said it was gone and he was sure it went to a good home. I was just surprised that you and me were the only ones to call about it. Keep us updated on your progress.
Between Steff, David, and now you, we can always know whats going on with the Challenger!

To All you guy on Moparts
Thanks for welcoming me. Love the Challenger--the coolest Mopar I have ever owned. I'll take a couple pictures this week and post them.

I plan on making it just the way it was motor and tranny wise and hope to be at track this summer, but not until I buy an enclosed trailer.
