What sizes are the holes in the end plates from the factory? I've got a set here and it looks like these have been drilled......and the car is rich at WOT........

dont know the size of the holes but the hole would lean it out AT IDLE and would have no effect at WOT

Say what??? I'm talking about the end plates that are the last things bolted on before you install the float bowl......

oh sorry. i thought you were talking about the holes in the throttle plates. I nust have missed the word END and read it as throttle plates.

I do have the numbers in my book at home but not here at work

I can't find the factory spec just now but if they are on a stock Aluminum Edelbrock Manifold try these sizes;

----------------------------------Throttle Side--------- Diaphragm Side
Front Carburetor MMO------------- .086----------------------.073
Center Carburetor Jet-------------- #63---------------------- #63
PVCR--------------------------------- .046--------------------- .046
Rear Carburetor MMO--------------- .086-------------------- .073

Same as above but with heat cross-over blocked;

.084 throttle side,.072 opposite side.Plate should be stamped 41
