Jesse are those new Pro-Form 1050 annular carb bodies any good? I am going back to a 4150 style carb.because the Dominator is just not what I was looking for in a street carb.
Sorry for the hijack but I was looking into the same body for my new carb.

Gus.....never used the 1050 version with the annular boosters from PF......I'm sure they will be fine though....what kind of Dominator do you have and who did it? Jesse

It's just an old 9375 that I attempted to modify with 4150 metering blocks.I have read many tuning threads on doing the conversion but I am still using stock metering blocks so I think therein lies my problem.I was going to use some BLP 2 circuit blocks and try to tune it in a little better. It runs very well wide open but seems a little mushy right when the secondaries tip in.

Just FYI, as I recall the Holley 950 main body is 1.375 x 1.750, so it is different than the Proform.
Jesse do you have the other Proform sizes? 750, 800, 850

Thats correct Jim on Holleys 950....1.375 X 1.750

But Proform has not stuck by the guildlines of Holley.....even Proforms 850 is still bigger then Holleys 950...

The Proform 850 is 1.400 X 1.750

Proforms 750 is the same as Holleys 750...1.375 X 1.720

Holley 750 HP...1.375 X 1.720
Proform 750.....1.375 X 1.720
Holley 950 HP...1.375 X 1.750
Proform 850.....1.400 X 1.750
Proform 950.....1.450 X 1.750

Thanx for the info, Jesse!!

That begs the question, what does the 950 PF actually flow?

Jesse - Do all the above Proform main bodies use the same boosters? I ask this because when some close-up pictures I saw on on either Jeg's or Summit's web sites, it looks like only their 950 has a stepped downleg. The others (including their 1050 downleg mb not listed above) appeared to have standard downleg w/o any additional steps machined into them.

Yes Brad....thats mostly correct.....although weve seen them come many different ways.....seems they use whats left over sometimes...

The 950 usally has the double stepped booster and the 750/850/1050 have the standard down leg boosters.....Jesse @ BIGS!!
