Fred, was Bagwell's car the one originally built for Glidden? I know Glidden had a Hardy Volare being built when Chrysler pulled the plug.
I thought that Jim Kinnett wound up with the Glidden car. Is it the same one?

Yep. Glidden didn't take it, Kinnett did, and then Bagwell.

Yes that is the car Black with R/T stripe. I am currently putting a little above stock 440 in it with(I hate to say) a powerglide tranny. I'm hoping to run 10 flat at some time. I will send you some pics. Thanks to all for your input. The car had side glass that had the name Rick Graham on it. I got the car from a guy in New York. I would love to get all the cars history. Thanks again.
When Rapid Ricky, AKA "Deptford Heavy" owned that car...It was the Fastest door car around. That is saying something for this area. He always has the Fastest door car at any bracket race...It's what he does. Goes rounds too.

I am pretty certain that Jeff Taylor never drove the Volare. He did however, race Bagwell's Pro Stock Camaro briefly in 1982-1983. Incidently, one of the first races I ever went to was Atlanta Dragway in 1982 and the Pro Stock race featured Warren Johnson, Reid Whisnant, Wyman Barnett, and Griffin in the VOlare.
That's it...I remember Jeff driving a Pro Stocker for Bagwell but it being a Camaro was something I didn't want to remember I think!
