The "390" rallye wheels in question say 9/29-69, and the superbird build window is from 10/22-69 to 12/15-69. The car in question was built on the last day 12/15. Are the wheels close enough?? or are they too early??

Saw you screen name, are you the current owner of the Petty Blue 6V 4spd bird that came out of Modesto?

nope..mine's a 4BBL w/ tag, but no build sheet. Just trying to determine if wheels could be original. Both jacks there, but no spare. Do you know if the car you mentioned has the "450" steelies, or the "390" rallies?

390 Rallies, the car was a untouched original, I knocked on his door for years..Nope! Not for sale! Ever!...Then it was gone..Turns out he got caught cheating & the wife knew the only thing he really cared about so she sold it...Cheap...

Sounds like there are a number of wing cars in central California.
