I just pulled mine out the other night. I'll get you some pics of oval cut out with the location measurements later this morning. Should be able to get you fixed up. Joe

Not yet. I'm still a little about it and that I didn't notice until a few days ago. I do not have a welder so the guy who is doing my media blasting has been doing my sheet metal repair also. I'll have him do it when I take the rest of the car over to be blasted. Thanks, Joe

The one on my '70 Challenger is a grommet with a large tube, similar to fuel fill.
Possibly an emissions deal...ECS?
We have a '70 Barracuda that originally had the large vent tube in the trunk that was about the same diameter as a fuel fill. It had 4 smaller lines at the very bottom that ran to the gas tank and/or fuel return.
I replaced the whole nine yards with the standard fuel tank and vent assembly.

Maybe, car is a California car with the California emissions called out on the Fender Tag. I recall only one vent tube coming out of the tank though. My 71 has 4 vent tubes coming out of the tank.
Joe
Right, California sold vehicles only in 70. Should have N95 on the fender tag. ECS is Evap control. routes the carb bowl gas fumes back to the tank instead of letting them vent to atmosphere.

The fender tag does have N95, California Emissions called out. I'm pretty sure the tank only had one tube coming out of it. I'll have to double check, which will be easy as the original tank is out of the car due to a leak.
So California emissions is basically carb fumes back to tank correct? That would mean I should have two lines from the fuel tank to the carb, one for supply, one for vent return. The emissions do not also include the 3-tube breather as well do they?
Thanks,
Joe
