Is there a difference in the Steering Arm early A to '67-up? My '65 Valiant has the late A Upper Control Arms, Spindles, so on for a late A Disc Brake conversion. It has what appear to be stock '65 Lower Control Arms but I have no clue as to which Lower Ball Joint/Steering Arm it has. I am having issues with too much side to side travel of the steering.

the lower BJ should match the spindle, so you would be using the 73-76 lower BJ, drum and disc are the same part. LCA should be the same IIRC.
I dont know if there is a difference in the steering arm on the BJ from early to late A

Yeah, there is an slight angle difference between the early & late. We compared the original early on the car with the late lower BJ & the early had a slight upward angle at the tie rod end compared to the later one.

We still used the later style & have had no issues, you'd have to have the front end way out from stock height to ever get near the end of travel on the tie rod end. Kinda like the discussion about the taller spindles.

The later is a bunch cheaper too. We used everything late in a 65 Valiant for the disc conversion with the exception of pitman / idler & original center link.

Forgot....the early & late both would bolt up the spindle so that's the same.
