I did some searching and could not find any info on a clearanced oil pan. I was looking at summits website for an oil pan for my 400 based 500 cu in stroker (4.15" stroke), some pan say they are stroker clearanced, some do not. Do I need a stroker clearanced pan or can I use a regular deep sump pan? I have read a lot on stroker builds and have not read anything about needing a special oil pan? Any help is appreciated.

4.15" arm should/would need a "stroker" windage tray (Mildon) but any pan should clear.. the baffles are not that high up

the pickup tube clearance is more critical...I have a 7 qt pan in a stroker 498 and it works well...also has windage tray.....now

Pan should not be an issue.

Some strokers will clear some standard windage trays. I prefer the tray to be closer to the crank.
