Iam in the process of restoring my wiring harness for my 70 cuda. The engine harness is a disaster! Iam gonna have to solder in more wire than is there! Its just not worth saving it. So,my question is what years and cars wiring harness interchange with mine? My car is a small block. I know where there is a bunch of 71,72,73 chargers with good harness but i dont wanna buy them if they wont work. I also know where there is a couple of decent a body harness, and a 74 chally but that ones a mess also. Any guidence on this or should i just call year one and spend more money i dont have. Thanks guys!

In regards to B Body harnesses. The closer to the same year the better. i.e. the 71 would be better than a 72 which would be better than a 73.

Under dash and body harness are too different IMHO.

The under hood harnesses are very similar. Similar enough that I would think they would interchange if the bulkhead connectors are the same but expect to possibly have to move a wire or two.
