Bill-A body ones,on a '70 anyway, are triangle shaped and bolt to the k frame kind of crossways.

I pretty positive that would be the same part for a 73-76 A-body with sway bar.

I also think the bracket (loop) is the same for 67-72 A-bodies as 68-69 B's as shown in that link. The sway bar diameter is slightly different, but I bet the bushing ID is the only difference.

I remember a restorer stealing them off of A-body sway bar to use on 68-69 B's. -carefully cutting and rewelding them and using the A-body bushing.

I am surprised no one is making early A-body sway bar brackets and bushings. Over the years they get smashed from hitting the parking curb. Not to mention, the original rubber bushings are worn out on all these cars. Someday maybe they will be available from someone. If the E-bodies used the same style, they would have been made years ago.

They are much harder to reproduce. Wouldn't you have to reproduce the injection molded rubber too. Or maybe you could use the poly repro. Even with a perfect new welded bracket the polys are very tough to install.

I know the person who repro'd the ones shown above on the RTSpecialties site. He knew full well the earlier one is needed more. But repro cost and difficult end user application made him choose the easier to do part. I don't think they made the earlier style poly bushings at that time either.

As Steve said that would work on a 73-76 A body , but not 67-72 which is the same design , possibly the same part , as a 66-69 B body

I was told that Helwig is making a decent substitution for these parts.

Not a perfect reproduction , but alot better than using the energy suspension bushings and brackets.

I have tried to get more info on them and some pic's without much luck so far.
