Any decent shift kits out there that won't break the bank?

With the B&M kit you get very good instructions and pictures. It comes with everything you need to do the changes including drill bits. If you read the instructions ans go step by step it pretty easy and will give you much better snappier shifts. If you do a quick online search for both brands of kits there will be instructions you can look at to see if you want to take on the job.

Don't try to save money by purchasing the less expensive plate kits often called "shift improver kit", go for a reprogramming kit like the TF-2. The B&M Transpack is similar and has better instructions but the TF-2 is the best bang for the buck.
