This is a good question. I know you see the general statements on Killer Ron's web site: Quote:
The 1475 CFM (2-1/8" Butterfly) TERMINATOR SYSTEM is utilized on engines ranging from 355 cubic inches up to 502.
The 2100 CFM (2-1/2" Butterfly) TERMINATOR SYSTEM has became very prevalent due to the increasing cubic inch and higher horsepower engines being utilized. This system has a wide range of uses from healthy small blocks to 632" Big Chief and Big Duke Engines.
My opinion: The 2100 CFM will work the same, no down side. The 1475 will work the same, but if you try to go much over 950+ hp it might limit things.
FWIW, my mild Indy 440-1, 511 CID has a 1800 CFM Flying Toilet and works just fine, footbrake and all. I don't need all that airflow, but it doesn't hurt on an injection system for drag racing.
Either way, I think they will set you up with a 0-1/2 pump. Right now Ron's is cutting the price by supplying a gold vane pump (like I have) instead of the more expensive gear pump. But I think the couple hundred more for the gear pump will be a better value over several years (durability). Ask them about this, I have no complaints about my gold vane pump.
This site has a bunch of injection users. Check there. This post isn't exactly your question, but is related. DRR forum

FYI, I run a 512 B1, the “bird” flows 4800 CFM. So I don’t think you can go to big. The only “problem” is the engine doesn’t have a part throttle. Only go, and idle. Joe

I'll let james pick the pump etc.
Good idea. But just for fun I am guessing 0-1/2 black gear pump with 36 nozzle jets and around .086" pill.

I run 2 Terminators on my engine in my dragster. It now has # 39 nozzels with a #80 pill. James had them set up with # 38 nozzels and # 86 pill. It would heat up like on gas. I was going to go up to a #40 or #41 nozzel but he said to only go up to the 39 & go down to the 80 pill.Seems to be close now.

if you change the cam and fuel system both you won't know which one helped the most, or at all.
what size engine and et now?
Well we are freshening it up anyway being it has over 500 passes on it. The last time out it went 7.89 at 171. It's a 500ci stock 400 block. While it's apart I'm just going to change both. Not smart I know but I've never been accused of being smart. Anyone have any opinions on a cam. I was thinking of using Total Seal gapless top, napier second and low tension oil. What do you think? I'm all ears. It has speed pro plasma moly with low tension oil now. 1/16 x 1/16 x 3/16

I have the Cams Motion roller from Indy R2826-2862-11 Specs .799/752 .283/292 this is with Jesel 1.7 rockers. This cam works great & I'm running terminators on alcohol also. If anyone knows of a better cam. I would like to know while I have my engine down.

A 528 cu in Bore 4.50 rods 6.570 crank 4.15 Aluminum block with 572-13 heads. They told me at Indy this was the best cam for it.They dynoed it from Indy 938 hp @ 7400 RPM with 1 1095 King Demon 93 Sq. jetted. They said it would make maybe a little more hp @ 7600 rpm if I thought I needed it. At 7400 it is still pulling hard.I was also told Indy dyno hp figures where a lots higher than everyone else's LOL. But it does run good in my dragster. But I'm a Drag-Racer and still want more. Just got my Advanced Profiling Steel Rings yesterday.Maxseal gapless top ring napier style 2nd ring. A member on the Board here recommended them. The rep @ Total Seal said they were thier best. Think of having a coating put on the pistons. Some say it will help others say it won't.

Calico coated everything. Weighs 1940 lbs, runs 7.89 at 171. Shift at 6800 finish line at 7100 with 4.10 rear. What do you guys shift at? Wish we had that big bore.
