Joesixpack I Live Here J Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 11,912 APACHE JUNCTION AZ	Thats a beautiful RoadRunner, 73 and 74s are sweet looking cars, undervalued,tough to restore as parts are hard to find,being a 2 year deal....I parted out some back in the day, wishing i still had the 73 340 4 speeder,black with red stripes,black interior, bench seat,with the wildest pistol grip shifter!got the fender tag stuffed away somewhere...

I have parted out several 73/74 RRs and Satellites when I lived in Iowa. Their value is going up. More and more people are starting to like them. I have a very nice offer on the table for mine but I have too much heart and soul in it to accept the offer. And it is a blast to drive. They have such good street manners. I really think I would have spent less money doing a 69.

My brother had a Black 73 with white stripes and Black interior 318 auto car. At the same time one of my friends here had a Black 73 with Red stripes Red interior with a big block Auto. They were both good looking cars but rusted out very quick for no older than the cars were. This was like 1980 or 81.

It's now painted 92 Viper Red and is waiting for my f-i-l to come and get it and put it back together. I sold it to him about ten years ago and if he gets to it, won't be long before it's back on the street. It will be a rough to drive car. Manual trans, manual brakes, manual steering with a 500+ horse 440.
