Stays in low/first gear longer than normal.
22,000 miles. Wifes driver. No-check German junk 5-speed automatic transmission. Where to start? How about a transmission service like BG? Thanks Moparts.

Other sources are split between electronic "re-flash, cooler weather, or fluid change. ?

Actually, those are excellent units in the chargers, so don't discount the transmission as junk. Our 06 Charger had a similar problem a mechanic checked out the code and something came up about a speed sensor. Anyway, it was fixed for a minimal cost but you are going to have to check for codes no way around that with these things.
