I found some videos that someone from the Southern MD Mopar Club took and posted on the Internet. They show a lot of the late model Mopar cars from their club. You have to see the black, supercharged Magnum SRT8 running low 10s in the videos. This car is bad++. I ran a time run with him and he went 10.39 @ 130 to my 10.79 @ 124. He told me he's run well into the 9s with full nitrous. There were also some new Challengers running 10s. It was very cool to see. Those guys should be commended for getting so much out of their rides.

It was also great to see so many moparts guys there like Keefe, drag440 and 440jim. The air was good and lots of folks were setting their new lowest ETs.

That was one bad Magnum! I saw it go a 10.13 @ 133. That thing really got busy on the big end. It was nice to finally meet you. I had a great time and the air was awesome.

Thanks Ron. I don't know, your car is *much* nicer than mine! I love those early B bodies.

Yeah, I ran some 10.79s @ 124. It was doing 100mph in 6.84 seconds in the eighth- that's a first for me too. I had my best ever 60' at 1.481. That just blows my mind... I use a tight 10" converter and 3:91s. I had couple runs where I dialed a 10.80 and had to step on the brakes hard and went a 10.802 bleeding off a lot of mph so I think I could have seen some 10.75s. The air was so good I had to jet it up to 95s from 91s. It was leaning out on my first few passes. A roll bar and a jacket wouldn't be a bad idea No more 10s for me without it. That was crazy.

Definetly a rollbar Joe. I figure with my 6 point bar if I really ever wanted to take it out I would just cut the bar of at the floor and grind the welds down. Then with the carpet over it no one would ever know. But I will never remove mine as I will never sell my 63. I do want to build another pump gas bigblock to put it in the 10's and still drive it on the street. I figure the 6 point bar is legal to low 10's but I am only looking to go mid 10's when I build the eng. Ron

Darrell win street?

I went .006 red against WC in the second rd. of Mod, and the guy that I ran (in a Arrow ) second rd. in Street throwed a .000 light on me!
Hey I had a great time and I'll be there again next year.
Hats of to Royce and the gang for going all out to make sure this show was in before the years end, getting the payout up might even help more with the turnout they have. The show car count was way low compaired to other years but the swap meet and race car count was very good.
Great Show as always!
Don't know about the hot dogs, but the burgers were good!
Also, Jim might not have won the wheelie contest, but he won best burnout!!

I did put on a show with that John Force style burnout during the wheel stand contest. I hope somebody got a video of that! LOL Tommy Seibert did another big wheelie to win that contest in his blue Cuda.

I lost in the second round by 0.007 as I lifted/braked scrubbing 6 mph thinking I would pass him, but I didn't...
It was tough judging my closing speed, 60 mph more than his!
I should have trusted the car, from the 1000 ft time I calculated it would have gone 9.256 on a 9.25 dial-in.

Jim, it was nice to finally get a chance to meet you. I really like what your doing with your car.

I was the idiot trying to race the 2008 Ram 2500 longbed, quadcab, 6.7L CTD.
Unfortunaetly I got there late and only got 2 time runs in. Never quite got it figured out. Except for the first TT (spun the tires throught the first 3 gears) it did run pretty consistant 15.70, just couldn't figure out the light.
1st rd street I red-lit by -.039 and it ran a 15.70 on my 15.60 dial.
Not wanting to go out on red light. I bought back in and over compensated and was late on the tree. The guy in the black dodge P.U caught me right at the line and took the stripe by .044 sec. (about 1/2 a fender) I at least ran pretty close to my dial runing a 15.671 on my 15.65 dial.
Overall I had a good time, since I haven't been on the track in about 3 years.
One of these days I'll get my 68 Cuda back together and have some real fun.

Sorry for taking so long to get back, been busy. My car FLEW! The air was great and my car ran a new best also. Before this race its best pass was 10.33 @ 129 and Sat. it ran 10.25 @ 130. This was right out the trailer when the air was at its best and was the first time I've ran it since May. After that pass it ran two high 10.27's and three low 10.28's all @ 130mph. In the third round I dialed a 10.28 and ran a 10.280 dead on, but had a .009 red light, but I still had a blast.

Also It was nice seeing Darrell,W.C.,and the Low Budget racing Team Glenn and Bill. It would be nice to see this show grow to a two day event like the Ford show has.
