Man, they look to be such a bargain..... I've been thinking hooker 1-7/8", but for less than half the price, I may be able to live with 1-3/4" tubes.
Any experience with them?

No real probelms with mine. I blasted the paint off and coated them with Eastwood to keep the rust off longer. As mentioned had to some to get them to fit, especially with power steering. Not bad for the money.

Summit headers are just rebranded hedman's. I run them, they're fine. No problems. Had to dimiple them in a few spots for proper clearance but nothing crazy.
I suspected this, as I currently run a set of older hedmans, and the pictures on summit look identical, only with full length flanges (mine have 3 seperate flanges, and the center ones are warped). Well, I'll have to weigh the performance benefits of 1-7/8" tubes vs. the $150 difference between these and hooker Comps.

I will give them a , just bought a set for my 71 dart, for the 105.00 bucks i was very impressed at the quality & construction, mine didn't need any hammering on. If there made by headman, either the quality got better or there putting alittle more emphasis in the fact that there going in a Summit/Jegs box. So far in this project dart, the 2 things that where $$$ well spent were a set of RHS Indy heads & the Summit headers, Can't say much for the Procomp dizzy i bought (POS).

If under 400 hp , i believe 1 3/4 would be preferable. Between 400-500, probably a draw.
