I have a 70 Dart that runs 10.30's-10.40's. Transbrake car currently has a 727 might switch back to a 904. 408 smallblock. 1.40 60ft's. Would I be fined on the mounts or should I run the motorplate.

race only should use a motor plate. The mounts can distort the block.

Once you go with a plate, you'll never want to use mounts again. They are much easier to work with, not to mention give you a great place to mount stuff. CHIP

Motor plate with also limiters added to keep the block from moving forwards or rearwards.

dont let the trans mount be the limiter,
use actual limiters on the engine(dont put the added
stress on the trans)
