Okay! Finally fixed my 440 powerwagon's overheating issues! After replacing everything and still having issues I finally decided to see if maybe my intake manifold was leaking. Sure enough it had been sucking air and oil from inside engine! When I did a cam change I didn't want to have to wait for a valley pan gasket because Schucks ordered the wrong one for me and ofcourse that was the day I didn't bother reading the box before teardown. I broke my own rule not to reuse gaskets ever!
So... learn from my mistake! It never ran bad or pinged or anything to indicate it was running lean but it was!
