Hey guy's I am thinking about buying a set of heads for my car, and was wondering what you'all would do, go with the Indy EZ's, or the eddy's? I have some extra cash , I need to do something with before the end of the year, for tax purposes, and thought I might buy some heads for the old gal. I am not wanting to rotate the earth or anything like that, just thought I would pick her up a touch. The combination in the car now is killer, when the driver does his job, but like I said, there is some extra $$$$$$ that need to go. The only problem I have with new heads, is the angle plugs, I will have problems with my current headers, with clearance issues, and they are fairly new, and I don't want to use the old hammer clearance trick. Thanks Dave

If you are considering a straight plug head then you will need the MP 452.It's actually an Eddy head with straight plugs and an "M" on the head. I have Indy EZ's and Doug's D452 headers and have no issues with plug clearance at all. Gus

I guess you should buy heads and headers then lol. I like the idea of building a spare bullet though.

hmmm 12k would get you into a nice trailer, and it could be a write off as you are investing back into your "hobby" lol....
Garceau, That is a thought, but,,,,,,,,,,,,I won a new 28' Haulmark enclosed, when I won the N/Box championship a couple of weeks ago, also a new Davis custom built golf cart, so I am having to look elsewhere for the tax write off's.

No brainer for me...I'd be putting Indy SR's on it for your type of racing and what you are looking to do.Best bracket head and overall performer for the buck.

I woudl go with SR's as well. IMO they are often overlooked anymore but have a world of potential.

Thanks for the input guy's, The thought of changing the combo engine in the car has never crossed my mind, I have it out to be freshened up as we speak. This deal is looking for something to build as a back up, who knows maybe it will find itself in the engine bay, for some testing????????????? I just need to move some $$$$$$$, for tax purposes, nothing more, Uncle Sam is going to me, on my taxes when the if I don't so something. This is a problem I don't mind having, I deal with it every year, but there is quite a bit more in the sack to deal with this year. Thanks Dave

Dont let possible spark plug interference be the deciding factor on head choice.. Buy a head that you later can grow into or send out for some major porting to pickup some real E/T. Go with the Indy's. Later on when you want to go fast..which we all do at some point. You can send them out, have them ported add the matching cam and pickup a half second in E/T. This is exactly what I did. Accel makes a shorty plug also.
