65racer OP 2009 IHRA World Champion 6 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,235 TN	Hey guy's I am thinking about buying a set of heads for my car, and was wondering what you'all would do, go with the Indy EZ's, or the eddy's? I have some extra cash , I need to do something with before the end of the year, for tax purposes, and thought I might buy some heads for the old gal. I am not wanting to rotate the earth or anything like that, just thought I would pick her up a touch. The combination in the car now is killer, when the driver does his job, but like I said, there is some extra $$$$$$ that need to go. The only problem I have with new heads, is the angle plugs, I will have problems with my current headers, with clearance issues, and they are fairly new, and I don't want to use the old hammer clearance trick. Was much more impressed with it out of the box than the -1's we picked up. EZ's had cnc bowl blend done and a much taller floor than the -1's. But the victors are like the EZ's with a better exhaust port. I think their max wedge version is a decent head but I think it needs a 2.250 valve to take advantage of the size they cast the bowl area. It's a little big for the 2.2 valve. But the standard port window victors aren't a bad head at all either. 340 cfm with some mild work is not hard to do at all.

However, the CNC EZs would give you an extra kick you could feel. You could prob use the same headers.

Dave Do you want to keep your intake for the new heads or are you willing to buy and switch intakes ? If willing to switch I would look hard at a set of B1-BS heads with the M.W. intake port size and buy a intake to match or buy a set of Eddy Super Victor heads (the M.W. intake port size ones) and intake to match. That should pick the combination up(as long as the compression stays the same) several tenths and similar MPH Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

This deal is looking for something to build as a back up, who knows maybe it will find itself in the engine bay, for some testing????????????? I just need to move some $$$$$$$, for tax purposes, nothing more, Uncle Sam is going to me, on my taxes when the if I don't so something. This is a problem I don't mind having, I deal with it every year, but there is quite a bit more in the sack to deal with this year. Thanks Dave

Buy a head that you later can grow into or send out for some major porting to pickup some real E/T. Go with the Indy's. Later on when you want to go fast..which we all do at some point. You can send them out, have them ported add the matching cam and pickup a half second in E/T. This is exactly what I did. Accel makes a shorty plug also. DoubleD top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 2,296 NE Ohio	I would go with the EZ's best head for the bucks - even if you get the stock intake port - the EZ-1 are max wedge port and can be made to flow around 350+ the eddy's are pretty much maxed out at around 325-330 Best part the EZ's use a standard exhaust port height and location - no header issues
