What about a rad cap with a built in sacrificial anode? Cheap, and takes a little worry out of the whole situation IMO...?

Seems I've heard something about using a special antifreeze or using some kind of additive with your antifreeze to fight corrosion of aluminum parts in your cooling system mainly the radiator.
Is there something special to use, or am I OK with regular antifreeze? Just installed a new aluminum radiator and I want it to last.
Thanks, Scott
Modern green (and any color) antifreeze has properties to handle aluminum. Since you are adding a lot of fresh surface area you might want to add a supplemental coolant additive like Justice Brothers Radiator protectant. Just extra precaution.

I tried that crap, seeped out of the head gaskets and water pump housing... no thanks. Went with the green stuff and was much happier.
That had nothing to do with the antifreeze. Time to do some maintenance on your "crap" cooling system. It's what ma Mopar uses and recommends.
