This is my first milodon setup and I dont like the pointer setup on... depending where you head is seems you will be looking at a different degree when setting timing.... Is there anything better out there ??? thx

you can make a better marker with sheet metal, if you have the knack and talent I don't I have to pay someone to make little brackets like that so the other guys don't laugh at my fabricating skills You might be able to use one of the bolt on timing brackets that come with the Mopar chrome timing covers also I think I've done that on a Jesel belt drive or a gear drive like the Milidon, Donovans and KB in the past

I made a longer one ( 1/4 long bolt)and then bent it 90 then 90 sharpened it so it was right by the balancer the did the old piston stop thing to dial it in exact. also got one now that is jst crudly fabed up pointer from one of the top gear cover bolts!
you can just barely see it in this picture

I have a Milodon so I put on a crank trigger. Works great.


1.298 60 ft 6.001 1/8 mile 114 mph 9.52 1/4 mile 140.87 mph @ 3110 lbs
