When installing a reverse manual valve body (turbo action), does anything have to be done to the governor assembly? Does anyone make a spacer to replace it or could the governor body just be gutted out and reinstalled. Will this cause an oiling issue?

If I remember correctly, I don't believe there is any oil going to the govenor after the RMVB is installed, so you could just gut it, I made a spacer to fill in for the govenor housing on mine, any local machine shop could make one easy enough, all it does is keep the parking pawl in location.

The governor is not required with a manual valve
body. It can be left or removed. A&A Transmission
has spacers to replace it.

If that is the case, then are the sealing rings from the governor housing (parking pawl) to output shaft support necessary anymore?

probably not but i am not sure if they seal to a passage in the rear support, I left mine in as it won't hurt to have them there even if there is no oil at that point, but then again the inner ring may seal the center dia which if I remember correct is fed oil from the system and may bleed past.

That is the lubrication circuit return oil from the cooler. Leave those ring(s)(depending on roller output support useage) off, and see what happens.
