Hi guys I was thinking of building a stroker motor with w2 heads maybe a k1 forged 4.00 inch crank and kb forged pistons and using a camshaft that will lift around 590.What do you think guys can this work i would like to have somewhere around 500 to 550 hp.Or does anyone else have a better idea?

Thanks Mats.

i've always wanted to do a 318 stroker. you may be limited by the small bore size, but 550 hp should be easy, i would think. what kind of fuel are you going to run? w2s and a mild roller would get you there with a little compression.

for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

Here is our combo,it consist of all the parts that every one says not to use. It started with a 1968 block bored to 4.00". Mopar 3.55 crank local dealer had them on sale for 200.00. Eagle SIR rods ebay specials 179.00,KB pistons for a 360 I cant think the part # offhand but it makes about 11 to 1 comp ebay item 224.00. The cam is a Mopar 590 solid already had it. Heads are W2s ported to mopar templets, and Harland Sharp roller rockers 1.5. A Holley intake with a 750DP. Step headers 2 1/8",DOWN TO 2" down to 1 7/8". In our 70 Dart it has run 10.60s at 125mph and that's at 5500ft DA. The car weighs 3200lb with driver,904 trans w/brake gears are 4:88s.

Get the block sonic checked. Then you'll know how far it can go.
