Went to Kil-Kare for the Turkey Trot race yesterday, Got 5 rounds in but ended up running a 6.15 @108.90 lifting(but not enough)1.272 60' 3.88 330ft. Big end of track had a lot of dew and was slick, so slamming the brakes wasn't a smart option . Messed around with 4 link again on Saturday, seems the further I get away from traditional setups the better the car runs. I think that should be in the 9.80 zone, 416 3000lb. A_body with a set of Ryan's Eddie RPM's,Victor 340 and 750 Holley, Racer Brown Solid.

That should be good for a 9.68 if it pulls on top like it does down low.

The Eddie heads really hold it back up top, only 184 cc runners, Your top end charge is way better than mine, at 6.30 I am only 10.00 flat so maybe mid to high 9.80's, lol sad thing is this is the time for new bests, come spring I will probably be 10.10, I would like to play with the tune, but Bracket racing all the time kinda eliminates that, so I just go with what I know will be most consistent. Air was very good, Everybody here would have had new bests. And this track always hooks great, National Trail is my Hometrack, and those guys work so much harder than anybody on that starting line and it just seems to never be that good, and these guys at Kil-Kare only work on track 1/3 as much and it always works! Pacemakers is same way. Maybe NTR just sprays and drags too much?

At least you can keep up Dom

Dan, Are you going to get a chance to run it for a full 1/4 before you put it away?

It is really working well in the 1/8, Dan I was talking to your Dad and he was saying you added weight to it to slow it down for 10.0. I would think it would be a solid 9.75-9.85 range for sure.

Barely.......... If my top end was as good as my 60 ft`s and 1/8th mile said it should be, I`d be runnin closer to 9.70-9.80`s I would think. But, that`s what I get for thinking.

The air was just great, about -10 feet on my tag, traction was optimum, no wind, MPH was up about 1 1/2 from the weekend before at Pacemakers, About like Saturday night at Norwalk Chrysler Classic only colder. It was 34 degrees when we lost, but humidity was high and everything was soaked from the dew. Poppa j, You would have been .05-.07 faster than Pacemakers, All the guys who came down from there was. No more this year, I think it is time to start stripping the paint and freshen it up. My Ford buddies all say now I got put Fiat on the doors, lol

Congrats on the new best

You really have that thing leaving great. I would kill for a 60' sub 1.30. I think I need to "hire" your dad for some advice on tuning with the cal-tracs.

Brian texted me Sunday and told me you went that quick. That is flat getting it . I think I am going to give up being consistent and try and go fast. I can't win anymore anyway so I might as well go fast while I'm there!!!!! Congrats again.

Talk about consistent,Brian has a handle on that, His car ran the same number every run, He has got the E-85 figured out, as far as you go, you sure didn't get much seat time this year, You'll do alright once you start racing regularly again. Brett's car was flying too!

Yeah Brian's car is consistent now. Sounds like Brett was running well this weekend. Hopefully next year will be better for me, but I just bought Dylan a Jr. Dragster so I will be spending alot of my time on his car. He is excited so to me I would rather make sure he has fun next year.
