Bob Reed crashed making an exhibition run at Z-Max last night. Bob sustained a broken foot and some bumps and bruises. Car is a mess.

Ouch! sorry to hear about that. Get well soon.

I saw a response asking about his cowboy boots, I was wondering the same thing.

I have heard before that Z-Max doesn't have decent prep unless there's a national event there.

Hope he is on a fast road to recovery..
He is one of the first Super Stock Guys I ever saw, and meet at a track..

Get that beast fixed, and keep on tearing up the tarmac.

if you gonna market 4 lanes..
then you better well have 4 lanes prepped..!!
i am hearing more and more of this..
and its foolish....the track is there for one purpose...to send cars down at speed..
if you cant get that part right...forget the rest..
frggn unbelievale...fools..
a foolish person knows better

That facility is beautiful, but I don't ever see them actually catering to the bracket racers or anyone other than NHRA so I won't ever be heading that way again. I would rather run Rockingham for 1/4 mile stuff.

I hope Bob gets it back together and recovers well.

Never good to hear of an accident at a race track, I hope Bob heels quickly. Cars can be fixed or replaced, people can be a different story!

They basically are a tunnel ram, the rules as far as I understand state a minimum offset for the carburettors and the rest is open.

Bobs My Cousin..He IS and Always will be One Of My Heroes....I Just walked in the Door a Few minutes ago and the First thing I was Greeted with was The Phone Ringing from Another one of Our Super Members here Advising this Accident...
Thank You Larry!!
This Stuff HAS GOT TO END with Tracks Not wanting to Properly Prep.....I was at Norwalk Last Week for a week and a half and the Track SUCKED for Eliminations on Saturday(We Actually were running in the Rain).I Went To My Home track And Spun Hard There Also On This Friday..I Am And Have Been Track Official And Director and KNOW what it takes To Make These cars get down the track...When It Gets to where the cars cant get down the track it Should Be A SIGN Way Before Someone Has To Wreck To Either STOP The Racing Or Fix The Track...

Get Well Soon 'BULLET"....

Best wishes for a quick recovery!

A great guy. Spoke to him years ago for a clutch setup for my car and he was glad to help.
