This coronet has 74,000 origional miles on it. It is #'s matching (LOL) I am using another 318,(1967) has 110,000 miles.I am going to see how much it will take close in to stock form. it is going to hava an air to air inter cooler. 600 cfm carb. not sure what 4 bbl intake yet! Im going to enjoy the semi flat hood for a change!

I don't know a whole lot about supercharging but you're gonna need alot more carb, and you might have issues with those cast pistons......

Beautiful car. My brother has a 4 door Sport Satellite w/440

Where you located in WI?

It is a paxton Novi 2000. off of a ford V10. it was on there for 6500 miles. he bought it new. said it made to much torgue to pull a skid steer every day!! (LOL) my 318 I will put it on is a old 1967,W/110,000 miles an to toy with. I have another sm block for a stroker later.I am going to try don't laugh to loud!! gas milage. my car is a # matching car. I will save the orig. eng trans. It gets over. 25 MPG including the HR power tour. all 2400 miles of it. fun car But needs more POWER !!!

-600 cfm is fine its a 318 not a 500 cube motor..there are 1000hp motors only running 750s
-keep the boost low, timing low, and run it rich and the pistons will last
- i had a cast piston 360 on 7psi for 2yrs with stock felpro head gaskets and never hurt it, just built a more reliable short block to hold higher boost

do your self a favor and go to turbomustangs.com and receive good advise from people who know what they are talking about

not a big fan of the paxton NOVI blowers, but im a turbo guy..will def be different. Good luck and nice sleeper

Thanks for the advice. I will be easy on it for the most part. I will go to mustangs.con and seek advice. thats a great idea. I plan on no more than 6# of boost with this engine.

Thanks
Kevin

Boost is a wonderful thing!! Dodge Turbo is right. The tune is what will kill any boosted application. Way faster than a NA engine. My cast slant six pistons finally gave me a probem at 29psi.

Also, get a wideband and try to keep WOT at 11.5:1 AFR

Ya once you go to turbomustangs.com and read in the mopar forum and just the website in general...it might change ur mind about that NOVI and youll be seeking how to build a turbo setup

6psi intercooled should be fine with that...i ran the mopar chrome box on mine for a long time with no problem and just locked the timing down to 22-25 total degrees
