I've had these old steelies around for 25+ years.

They are 15x8, did Ma ever offer this wheel? Or perhaps it's an old Furd job. I believe the ones offered on the late '70 Ramchargers had slots or openings of some sort.

Any wheel experts out there?

Some '60s c-body cop cars had wheels that took caps that went on the inside like that but not sure what sizes they were.

The Ramcharger ones look like regular wheels, they just have a wider hoop.

One more chance before I post this pic in the race section.

If it has any numbers on it, post them.

Ferd uses a different ID on the center hole, it is not a Ferd...
Ramcharger wheels also look different..

They look similar to a late 1950's steel wheel, possibly been modified onto a wheelrim. Did you find any part numbers or wheel diameters?

Havent broken the bead in 25+ years. Back then I sure could care less about stampings.

12 to 14 years ago my neighbor (Chrysler New Castle retiree) told me they were valuable rims.

Think they could be old stock car rims from the late '50s?

I don't have any idea, perhaps an industrial application or some sort? Perhaps military? Old Nascar is a good bet also. Definitely not a late-70s Ramcharger wheel, though.

Not wanting to hijack, but here's a wheel a buddy had. It also had no slots similar to the OP's wheel. It has hubcap nibs, tho.

Perhaps this pic will jog some memories???

Parts I seek: driver doorpanel, 65 Sport Fury, prefer black, needs to be 7-8 on 10 scale, might buy set 16" x 6" Dodge truck wheel(s), from early 70s?, takes 9" dogdish - need for a research job so cheaper is better. 69-73 C-body caliper brackets and/or splashields Send a PM.

Dad had those smoothies on his 69 Plymouth Suburban wagon. Had the aluminum "Plymouth Division" poverty caps on them.
