Looking for a way out of Middl...
The heater control Valve on my 74 Satellite is too stiff. If I hook a cable to it, I bends the cable when I move the lever. I can open the hood and move it by hand and it doesn't leak so that is what i have been doing.

I know I should just throw down the $50 for a new one but the eternal cheapskate in me is thinking there has to be a way to loosen it up.

Any Idea's?

Take it out and soak it in PB blaster for a while. It's propbably corroded inside.

That, or submerge it in Vinegar for a couple of days.
