It might take an X pipe and some type of resonator mufflers in the rear tailpipes. Not sure what to recommend for the main mufflers but prior posters have been unhappy w magnaflows & OK w dynomax?? iirc. Might see if you can do a search.

A 43041 40 series muffler is a Flowmaster, not a Magnaflow. If you don't like them, get some Magnaflows and you'll be happier. CHIP

I run Summits stainless muffler on my 65 440.It exits in front of the rear wheels. Its 3 inch has great flow not loud.My 440 is pushing close to 600 hp.I have 3 inch with an X pipe.If it was run out the back it would be even quiter.Plus the polished stainless wont rust and they look great at like 70 bucks each.Rocky

I dumped my flowmasters on my Cuda for the Summit SS's and was very happy!
