I thought I would post some pics here. So a litte info is first.
It's a 1971 Challenger 318 convertible being restored to replicate to some degree a real 1971 340 R/T vert.
It's a 999 paint code car and the original color was a very pale light blue
with white top and interior . Being painted in a 1971 Imperial color called FC8 Deep Indiglo which is a rich deep purple thats much nicer than FC7 plum crazy. Original white interior and top will remain.
A lot of thanks go to many Moparts sponsers and contributers whom I'll name as pictures go forward.
It's not done yet but he hopes to have it completed sometime after the 1st of the year.
Finelines supplied all the brake and fuel lines as well as the parking brake cables.
Theres an issue where the brake cables are to short that I'm not sure has been resolved as of yet.
Cass - aka Dr Diff supplied the 3.55 differential
Mark aka MRbelvedere has restored both the grille, and headlight bezels and well as the comeplete rear finish panel and the original extension/decklid mouldings.
Enjoy
