wondering if anyone use a product engineering vacuum pump?
good, bad, indifferent?
is the Star Vacuum pump any better or worse.
i need to get a pump for my new engine.

The Product Engineering pumps are very nice, but, the support from PE is not good. I would go with the Star, as they are designed very well, and there support is excellent. You are rolling the dice if something goes wrong with the PE pump. Hope this helps....

B1CUDA Thanks, i use their electric fuel pump and bypass system and have great communication with John from PE.
are you saying if something goes wrong with the product,they dont stand by it?

If you had good luck with John, than I would say, you are very lucky. In my opinion, he has proven to be "Shady" over the years. Good stuff, bad support.

NIck, i use the Star VACUUM Pump. works great.
i think PE pump is a little cheaper priced.
not sure of the quality though ,sorry.

I have no first hand knowledge of the PE Vac pump. I know their fuel pumps are great products.

I do love my star vac pump though. Great communication after the sale also.
