DEMONSIZZLER super gas D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 826 Stone Mt, GA.	The correct T.Q. number for a '72 340 auto is #6139 with either top casting #6-2007 or 6-2080. The three/four speed # for '72 is 6138 with either above top #'s. The 6319 is an auto carb, the 6318 is a manual trans carb and should both have the top casting #6-2124. Both are '73 340 carbs. It is crucial for the '72 carbs to have the original tops as the metering system was unique to the '72 models, David.
