the wipers in my 87 w100 stopped working today. the washer still works...the fuse is good...when i try to turn them on i can can hear a "click" under the dash with each move of the lever. what should i check? figures it would be raining today

Is the wiper motor running but the linkage not moving or is there no motor? If the motor isn't running try turning it on and then tap the wiper motor with a hammer.

Could be the plastic linkage bushings.

it has a bad ground somewhere...i took a wire directly from a mount bolt to the body of the truck and the motor works now...so guess i gotta find the bad ground now
