I didnt need to go to columbus, we were on the dyno with my dads motor saturday. I would rather do that than go to a points meet. by the way we made 860. some day I will make 885 if I keep tryin

rains is here now, hansen will be here tonight. we will put in a fresh one and test thursday I think.

If bucky only makes 885, and says he is the top dog, then I am only allowed to make 860.

I made an offer earlier this year to settle all this HP BS, I would be willing to have a dyno challenge like in the hot rod magazines. 10K entry fee, winner take all. If you are proud enough of your capabilities to sell your stuff for big money, then you should be willing to do it.

At what point does NHRA step in and try to refactor the HP ratings on the cars or does it matter cause you guys have your own class. Maybe a dump question but just curious.

NHRA just adjusted the horsepower rating by lowering the index .05 to 9.75. They do this instead of adding more weight. Dyno

Got the engine in last night, getting closer.

charlie was saying that i said bucky was top dog,, not that i am top dog. i never said anything about charlie not being able to make power,, we all hear how dynos are,, charlies is just higher than clarks probably,, or maybe its not,, all you need when you go on the dyno is more, who cares what the numbers are. i say bucky is top cause he ran an 8.43 at 156+ at 300 or so feet air with his bracket motor in. last year at indy houser and bucky were top though bucky had technical difficulties with his tach/ignition. henson was fast but broke a rod bolt or a piston or whatever and had to put in his back up engine, i thought fred was the guy to beat till that happened.

we will all find out in a month if its charlie or bucky at the top,, or maybe barton or houser,, or lil joe..

bucky, charlie was the first guy i mentioned. its just my opinion, but i think you are the guy to beat, your quickest and fastest run for an automatic speaks for itself. charlie works as hard or harder than anyone out there on this stuff. it shows and he gets rewarded quite often, ive had differences with him in recent times but that doesnt take anything away from his ability to race. if you pull aside charlie in a heads up race you best be on your game.

Just wanted everyone to know that there will be a Hemi Shootout at the allhemireunion at Quaker City Raceway. Trying to get them to prep the track for this event.

HEMI SHOOT OUT

On Saturday the 23rd August. Must be able to run 10.50 or quicker. Must have period looking no modern hood scoops, and 1964 to 1971 body style. If you want to run the Hemi Shoot out call Chuck Reichman at 330-479-0159 he is the coordinator for the shoot out.

Thank you for asking and your nice comment. We will not be there. Currently we are a dysfunctional team.

Julie, that is terrible. Your team adds a lot of class to SS/AH. How is Harry and Jarred doing. You all will be missed at Indy. Hope your team gets back on the track.

Dad is doing pretty good. He'll by 77 on Sept. 1. Jared is recuperating fine.He has a lot of physical therapy ahead of him but he'll be fine. He's going to go back to his home in Sacramento this weekend. He starts his last year of law school 8/18. Soon I will be done with tuition and rent. Woohoo!
