How do you get the pass side engine mount out of the way? The manual doesn't say anything about removing it,the manual skips to engine out as if that is how its done.
The labor guide gives 4.0 hours for repair but if engine removal is needed that's not nearly enough time.

You have to take the panel that goes across the rad off. Then we just get the compressor out of the way.The last one we did we didnt evac it just moved it as we got enough room out of the lines. Then jack the motro up.It has to go pretty high and unbole the mount and wiggle it out. They are a pain.Just make sure that the cams dont move when you replace the belt.Vheck the idler and tensioner real good. That and a new water pump. Its apart and easy to change.Rocky

Autozone has the procedure in their repair guides. There might something there? Or ask here?
I'm working 16 hours so all my manuals are home.

The engine needs to be jacked up. I do not take off ac compressor just remove the bracket on backside of ps pump so pump can be moved easier

Compressor has to be unbolted also. That and the strut rod thats attached to the front of the engine by the lower damper. They need a special puller for the damper also.We didnt have to evac the last A/C when we did the last one.Just moved it out of the way.Rocky
